Beer List: April 1-5.

  • Imperial Gratzer: A big wheat beer with house-smoked malt.  Smooth, subtle pecan smoke with banana and clove notes from everyone’s favorite Bavarian wheat strain. 6.5% ABV, 38 IBU, 6 SRM.
  • Peated Porter:  Deep brown/black, roasty, leather and  smoke notes. 4.2% ABV, 18 IBU, 30 SRM.
  • Pecan Chicory Stout: Buttery pecan topnotes, smooth, chocolate body, lasting herbal bitterness from the chicory.  Possibly the last time this winter that it will be on tap?!? 6.4% ABV, 42 IBU, 34 SRM.
  • Double IPA:  Based on the long-standing tradition of tax evasion among British ale brewers, this giant IPA is brewed with a significant amount of jaggery (a semi-refined sugar used by British brewers to avoid taxes on malted barley in the 18th and 19th century) and a huge amount of citra hops.  Marshmallow and rum notes with a nice hoppy finish. 11%ABV, 70 IBU, 9 SRM.
  • Belgian Dubbel:  A rounded dubbel with a slightly silky texture, a nose full of banana and pepper and a pruny, toffee-like backbone.  6.2%ABV, 22 IBU, 14 SRM.
  • Cardamom Pepper Blond Ale: Bright, golden, effervescent, with a nice wintry sharpness, a pleasing astringency and a barely-detectable heat.  4.5% ABV, 16 IBU, 4 SRM.
  • Gruit:  A bright blond ale inspired by Medieval brewing practices.  No hops!  Ginger, yarrow and birds-eye peppers.  5.5% ABV, 0 IBU,  6 SRM.
  • Belma brown: A dry brown ale with a soft, caramel, slightly roasty palate that showcases the earthy, candy-like (yeah, we’re surprised to put those words together too) nature of the belma hop.  You’ll love it! 4.1% ABV, 24 IBU, 21 SRM.
