Beer List: April 5-9.

  • Tax Evader Double IPA: Huge double IPA made with generous additions of Columbus hops and jaggery, a semi-refined sugar from India.  12.2% ABV.
  • Biere de Garde: ERMAHGERD! Less Belgian-y than most Belgian beers, more Belgian-y than most non-Belgian beers. 6.62% ABV  
  • Red IPA: Belma hops provide lots of juicy strawberry and orange cream aroma, our expertly-crafted malt blend provides backbone and color. 5.8% ABV. 
  • Irish Stout:  Snappy, light-bodied stout with a roasty, dry finish. Like James Cagney if he had died in a house fire in the desert.  5.8% ABV. 
  • Belgian Quad: It’s like two diferent dubbels, all brewed together! Or like a tripel multiplied by 1.333333333333333333333. Lots of caramel malt notes, some warmth from the C2H6O, lots of banana and clove aroma, thanks to some Belgian yeast. 9.6% ABV. 
  • Pecan Chicory Stout: Rich buttery top notes from the pecans, velvety chocolate malt in the heart, miles deep earthiness from the chicory. 7.2% ABV.
  • Red Gruit: The same grainbill as the Red IPA, except we bitter with cinnamon, sumac and yarrow instead of hops. 5.8% ABV. 
  • Horseradish gruit:  This hopless witbier is seasoned with horseradish, yarrow and orange peel. It was supposed to be grapefruit peel but we forgot until the last minute. Anyway, this beer still rules pretty hard. 4.37% ABV..

  • Coffee Midnite Mass: A variant of our blackest, thickest, roastiest stout, featuring deep-roasted Indonesian coffee from COMA coffee in Richmond Heights.  People are snagging growlers of this stuff so fast our heads are spinning! 8.0% ABV. *LAST KEG ALERT*

Named after the old British practice of adding sugar to the boil kettle to avoid malt tax, this massive IPA is made with jaggery, a semi-refined Indian sugar (that tastes like toasted marshmallows) and an extremely generous addition of columbus, chinook and cascade hops (which smell like weed, pinecones and citrus, respectively). 11.5% ABV.O

  • Krampus Gruit: We saved a keg, just for you! Peppermint, chili piquin and elderberries tart up this hop-free blonde. 5.5% ABV.

  • Pecan Chicory Stout: The beer equivalent of the song Love in this Club, by Usher. Pecans provide a buttery, slippery topnote (that’s Usher’s voice), the malts provide a robust, balanced rhythm section and the chicory provides some big booming HEYYYYY bass notes.   6.2% ABV
  • Bruce Lée Brown:  Mild brown ale with a generous addition of bruléed sugar. Dry with raisin and dark caramel notes.  4.61% ABV. 
  • Sprucy Gruit: A bright, crisp blonde ale bittered entirely with spruce tips. Express train to pinetown! 4.7% ABV.  LAST KEG ALERT
  • Tax Evader: Huge double IPA, brewed with jaggery and dank hops.  It’s named after the malt tax of 1660 in merry olde engalonde but we can pretend it has ~current events relevance~ if you want to be all Aaron Dorkin about it. 10.5% ABV.
  • Blushing Cowboy: IT’S BACK!  Gose (slightly sour wheat beer seasoned with salt and coriander) fermented on strawberries grown by our friend Matt.  One of our three best beers of all time, a solid 2.5 on Untappd, at least. 5.3% ABV. 
  • Rosemary Juniper Pale Ale:  The beast is back! Rowdy, spicy rye notes pair with woodiness from the rosemary and finishes with a sharp, herbal bitterness from the juniper. 7.9% ABV.
