Beer List: January 6-January 10.

  • Black Wit:  A light, refreshing witbier (wheat, coriander and orange peel) turned dark and mordant through specialty grains, coldbrew coffee and unending cynicism about the state of the world. I BLAME SOCIETY. 7% ABV, 11 IBU, 29 SRM.
  • Salted Chocolate Imperial Stout: A rich, dark stout flavor blasted with cocoa and bourbon. Salt for added frisson. 4.9% ABV, 62 IBU, 64 SRM. 
  • Scotch Ale:  Deep garnet color, heavy and sweet, peat smoke notes. 7% ABV, 12 IBU, 16 SRM. 
  • Mahlab ESB: Like a pale ale, but maltier!  Crisp cereal finish with a complex spiciness from the pits of St. Lucie cherries. 6.5% ABV, 37 IBU, 10 SRM.
  • Irish Red Ale: Some “expert” on a beer-rating website said it tasted like drinking water out of a dirty garden hose.  We get where he’s coming from, but it’s pretty good and people drink a lot of it. WHATEVERRRR.  5% ABV, 31 IBU, 12 SRM. 
  • Bruce Lée Brown:  A high-quality brown ale taken OVER THE TOP tiger-style with the addition of some sugar we bruléed for like a million hours.  Full mouthfeel, slight sweetness, aroma of burnt sugar.  Comes with a free roundhouse kick to the head.  5.1% ABV, 14 IBU, 24 SRM. 
  • Pecan Chicory Stout: It’s basically the beer equivalent of that one Usher song–the pecan adds buttery top notes, the grain bill is mellow on roast notes but provides lots of body and mouthfeel, the chicory give you nice herbal bass notes. You’ll want to make love to these suds (hey) to these suds (hey).  7% ABV, 35 IBU, 30 SRM 
  • Pumpkin Gose:  Ever wondered why all pumpkin beers taste like sweet garbage?  It’s the pumpkin pie spice.  We did you a favor and omitted it.  Salty, slightly sour, full creamy mouthfeel (what pumpkin actually adds to beer).   5.3% ABV, 6 IBU, 7 SRM.

Beer List: December 9-December 13.

  • Scotch Bonnet Scotch Ale:  Our standard scotch ale recipe with a house-made scotch bonnet pepper syrup addition late in fermentation.  Nice and warm!  7% ABV, 12 IBU, 16 SRM.
  • Krampus Gruit: HE IS RISEN. Peppermint, elderberry and juniper remind you of the real reason for the season: DEATH IN A WINTRY WASTELAND. Looks like country-time lemonade. 4.9% ABV, 0 IBU, PINK SRM. 
  • Scotch Ale:  Deep garnet color, heavy and sweet, peat smoke notes. 7% ABV, 12 IBU, 16 SRM. 
  • Imperial Gratzer: A big wheat beer with house-smoked malt.  Smooth, subtle smoke flavor with banana and clove notes from everyone’s favorite Bavarian wheat strain. 6.5% ABV, 38 IBU, 6 SRM.
  • Cream Ale: For when you want to wander in and ask for “the closest thing to a bud light”.  It’s good.  6.4% ABV, 11 IBU, 3 SRM.

  • Old World Stout:  It’s really a gruit!  This stout was made with spices that you could only get before Columbus invaded/pillaged the new world. Made with white horehound, cinnamon, grains of paradise and black cumin. Buttery and root-beer ish.  5.4% ABV, 0 IBU, 43 SRM. 
  • Tax Evader: It’s back and better than ever!  Lots of columbus hops, lots of jaggery.  10.1% ABV, 70 IBU, 15 SRM 
  • Peat and Anise Porter:  LICORICE AND SCOTCH. LICORICE AND SCOTCH FOREVER.   5.4% ABV, 21 IBU, 30 SRM.

  • Demon Summoner: It’s a rauchbier. Smoke and toffee. 5.4% ABV, 23 IBU, 14 SRM. 
  • None More Black:  A stout as absorbent of color as the void at the outer edges of the universe.  Even the head is black. Tastes of chocolate and burnt offerings to our dark lord Satan. 7.2% ABV, 68 IBU, 108 SRM (lol). 
  • Biere de Garde: Sessionable and not aged at all, but it hits the style guidelines.  Letter of the law if not the spirit &c 5.6% ABV, 23 IBU, 15 SRM.  
  • Ginger Yarrow Gruit: Soft and smooth, no hops at all.  A mild ginger heat shows up on the back end of this blond ale.  6.0% ABV, 0 IBU, 6 SRM. 
  • Pawpaw Belgian Weizen:  OZARK BANANA OZARK BANANA OZARK BANANA.  8.0% ABV, 16 IBU, 15 SRM. 
  • Harvest Wheat: Slightly darker, toastier wheat beer.  Perfect for autumn.  4.5% ABV, 14 IBU, 9 SRM 
  • Peat and Anise Porter:  LICORICE AND SCOTCH. LICORICE AND SCOTCH FOREVER.   5.4% ABV, 21 IBU, 30 SRM.

Happy Birthday to Us!

Hey! People say it’s our birthday! So happy birthday to us!  Come celebrate a year of weird beer at Empire Hall on Friday, November 20th.

We will pour fifteen different beers at the event, including favorites like the Thai Basil IPA alongside rarities like the Apricot Gose and Dead Druid King. Additionally, the event will serve as the seasonal launch of two beers from the brewery’s starting lineup—the Rosemary Juniper Pale Ale and Scotch Ale.

In addition to the beer on tap, guests will be able to chat with the brewery staff, pose for photos with Photomaton, cut a rug to some choice tunes, sample beer cocktails from Taste and Craft Beer Cellar, and purchase food from local restaurants like Byrd & Barrel and Gooseberries.

  • Mahlab ESB:  An early favorite from our lineup, brought back in time for the awesome late-summer/early fall weather.  Full bodied and sessionable with an amazing aroma from the  pits of St. Lucie cherries.  Smells like Turkish baked goods! 5.3% ABV, 37 IBU, 10 SRM.
  • Black Wit:  A traditional witbier brewed with coriander and orange peel, blackened with midnight wheat and dosed with light-roast coffee just prior to kegging.  It’s the most subtle coffee beer you’ll ever drink. 3.8% ABV, 14 IBU, 34 SRM. LAST KEG ALERT.
  • Oktoberfest: It’s really a weizenbock, don’t tell anyone!  Rich, caramel malt and wheat flavors dominate, with notes of raisin and prune from special aromatic malts.  A crowd favorite! 5.5% ABV, 20 IBU, 18 SRM.  LAST KEG ALERT
  • Ginger Yarrow Gruit: Soft and smooth, no hops at all.  A mild ginger heat shows up on the back end of this blond ale.  6.0% ABV, 0 IBU, 6 SRM.
